One of the mistakes new players make is not keeping an eye on the support. When you need new troops, then is not the time to figure out you don’t have the supplies. Your combat unit is how you win the battles and if they’re not ready to fight, you can lose.

When you get the expansion set, you get weapons that will help you succeed in the battle. Weapons like the Protoss Corsair, the Terran Valkyrie (gunship) and the Terran Medic that can bring healing to the forces so you won’t have to bring on new recruits.

Don’t forget that while you’re building you’re still enemy fodder. If your SVC comes under attack and your building is hit, you can use more than one SVC to fix the building. One of the best tips for the buildings is that you have the option of using a lift off command.

If things get too hot for you in the area and the enemy starts breathing down your neck, you can use the command to relocate to another area. Keep in mind, however, that as you’re in flight, the buildings can take a hit.

Starcraft Terran strategies don’t have just one way to win. You can plot out your offense, defense and even get the heck out of dodge with your buildings if the area gets infiltrated with the enemy.
