The best trade if you are a paladin would probably be a blacksmith or an engineer. Blacksmith gives you superb advantages such as having great weapons. Generally Paladins have a great many abilities such as auras, judgments, healing and seals. Using these spells you are well equipped to fight and look after yourself, but remember you have a lot to learn until you reach the 30th level. You can also level up your Retribution tree. In this you are fighting a lot of battles, casting spells, attacking and then repeating the process. The equipment you wear to level your Paladin is crucial if you are raiding. The equipment will also protect you from getting hurt when you are grinding as well as when you are raiding others. You must remember that the Paladin has many skills as of one of the hybrid classes, but the most important ones are the healing and buffing. They are vital to any raiding group. Be sure that when you choose a job for your Paladin you read about how to level up your skill as well as your own personal levels.
So remember, you will want to choose the proper equipment to enhance your skills and to help you when you are in the middle of grinding to level up or you and your friends are raiding someone else and their group. Level up your Retribution tree and make sure you have a blacksmithing or engineering trade.
