3 bundles for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 have been announced today by Activision. Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling detailed all of the bundles during a YouTube video.
The first bundle is the standard edition and it’s really for gamers who just want to grab the game and play. For anyone that likes looking at the development of the game, there is the Hardened Edition.
The Hardened Edition is just like any other special edition game. It comes with a collectors art book and a download code for the original Call of Duty game, this is all stored in a special metal case. This bundle will cost you $80.
The final bundle is just as insane as the Gears of War 2 special bundle which came with a life size lancer gun. The Prestige Edition comes with everything that the Hardened Edition does, but it also comes with an added bonus. That special extra is a fully functional pair of night vision goggles, that’s right, Activision have gone mad.
Alongside your night vision goggles, you will also get a sculpted head so that you can display the goggles when you’re not using them.
This does sound amazingly good, but it all comes at a price. If you really want your pair of night vision goggles, it will set you back a massive $150. This certainly isn’t cheap, however, Activision will still get the money from hardcore fans.
So if your into gaming and are in the market for a pair of night vision goggles, then the Prestige edition is perfect.
I’m sure not many gamers will be waiting for the game reviews to be released before they order their copy of the game. With a successful game like this, not many will need to read the video game reviews!
