Readership
The writing aid is exclusively reserved for video game writers residing in Rhone-Alpes. The application must be submitted by an individual (author or young professional from Rhône-Alpes institutions for training in video game and 3D graphics) proof of residency in Rhone-Alpes
Amount of aid / support offered
It is an aid of € 4 000, allocated through a grant from the Région Rhône-Alpes to the author selected.
Awarding
The writing aid aims to foster creation and innovation, a screenwriting perspective, artistic and technical in the field of video game.
The aid covers all video game project, and will allow an author to complete a writing project, so we can then submit a work led to an editor or a producer of video games.
Selected projects
Aid is allocated by the Standing Committee of Regional Council, after consulting an expert committee composed of professional video game.
Filing of records
An application for full funding must be addressed to the Rhone-Alps before September 30, 2009. The expert committee will meet during October to select the project assisted. Notices will be communicated after the vote on the Standing Committee, December 2, 2009.
The request for aid to writing video game must include all of the following documents:
1. An identification sheet “helps the writing game” to complete and return by mail only to the address on the sheet indicating the project title and author name in the email subject .

2. An application package comprises the following documents to be sent by mail only in the Rhone-Alpes (Department of Culture), in 8 pieces
* A letter of application signed and dated
* A summary (5 lines)
* A statement of intent of the person giving the lines of writing project and any contacts or agreements with one or more video game studios for the project
* Developed a synopsis
* CV / biography of the noted author (and possibly associated artists)
* A list of public support received for this item
* A sample screen shots and further visual or audible (insert link to the Internet. Avi files or. Mp3)
* Proof of address (copy)
* A RIB (one copy)
Caution: Any incomplete application will be deemed inadmissible. The filings, as well as additional visual and sound will not be returned to applicants.
