Can You Download Metal Gear Solid on the Playstation 3?

i dont have a ps3 but i know that you can download old games on it. can you get any of the mgs games on it and if you can which ones.

Yes you can get old games on the PS3, its called "PlayStation Classics".
The only metal gear game you can download is the first one, Metal Gear Solid.
