Suggestion:
first you need to create a PSN account, then go on the PSN and purchase any game they have either using a credit card or what I do instead of a credit card buy a PSN card from GameStop or BestBuy and use that. They are prepaid cards with either $20 or $50 and then type the redeem code and your all set, simple!!!

you can use a credit card or psn cards to add funds to your wallet .
after creating a psn account go to the playstation store and select either redeem codes to use a psn card or go to account management on the ps3 to add a credit card .
must be a master account and you must be at least 18 to purchase because under 18 can't legally accept the terms of the contract
find something to buy , add it to your cart or purchase now
confirm the purchase , add funds if necessary . download – install – enjoy
