Why Isnt My Psp Reading My Memory Stick Anymore?

i had music downloaded and on it and games and pictures .so anyways by accident i tried to download medal gear solid demo on playstation store ,afterwards my PSP wouldnt recognize the memory stick anymore. btw i live in america and its the new god of war psp but i ordered the memory stick pro duo from japan

Suggestion:

Try cleaning the end of the memory card where the copper pieces are with a Q-tip if not there might be a lock button on it its really tiny but im not sure if it does or not. have you tried using it on a pc yet?
the cards are made in japan anyways so that shouldn't have anything to do with it. If you dont get any good helpfull answers go to the psn website and hit support or look in the forums. Good Luck
