Is Their a Way to Fix My Ps3 or is It Permanently Dead?

So one day I came home, turned on my ps3, and the screen was just black and my Sony HDTV screen showed"no signal". I tried the holding the button for a few seconds to get the the two beeps that usually goes to the hdmi set up screen, and nothing showed. My ps3 turns on, but nothing shows up. Also my controllers don't even sync to my system. Please help. Thanks.

Turn it off and unplug it and leave it that way for a few minutes then plug it back in and turn on and see what happens then. If that still fails, then try a different HDMI cable. If that doesn't work, then try the standard AV cable and see what happens. If that works, then you'll know it's either the PS3 or TV HD port.

As for the controllers not syncing, plug them in with the USB cable and try that, sometimes they need directly re-synced. You can also try the reset button on the back of the controllers, use a paperclip or something in the small hole to do it.

Other than that, I'm not sure what else to do.
