The Three Muskateers: Musketeers Athos, Porthos, and Aramis join young D’Artagnan in an attempt to stop Cardinal Richelieu, who is plotting to form an alliance with the English. The Musketeers are abandoned, and asked to throw down their swords. These three refuse, and along with D’Artagnan will try and save France.
Gangs Of New York: As a young boy, Amesterdam Vallon saw his father killed during a gang-fight in New York. Moving ahead to 1863, Amsterdam has returned to New York, and plans to avenge his father’s death. He eventually infiltrates the gang of Bill the Butcher, the very man he wants dead.
House on Haunted Hill: Zillionaire Cost offers group of individuals $100,000 each if they’ll invest a day in spooky old mansion with kill-full history; he even grants loaded guns as reception favors. Campy fun; possibly the Castle film which keeps up best on Television. Cast includes Vincent Cost, Carol Ohmart, Richard Long, Alan Marshal, Elisha Chef, Carolyn Craig, and Leona Anderson. Rambo: (2008-U.S.-German) C-91 Stallone is a tad long in the tooth to be in his Rambo personality, however here he is in the fourth installment This time around everybody’s top choice whacked-out Vietnam war hero, action idol emerges from a tranquil retirement in Thailand to save some seized missionaries and physicians in Myanmar (Burma).
