Born On The Fourth Of July: A true story that chronicles the life of Ron Kovic. A volunteer in the army, Ron does a tour in Vietnam, where he suffers injuries that leave him paralyzed. After his disturbing treatment by the government, and harrowing experiences in VA hospitals, Ron becomes an anti war activist. He feels completely betrayed by the country that he fought for.
Hootenanny Hoot: Unsurprising comedy about college hootenanny show carried to Television is made bearable only by presence of Money and other nation/people actors. Ivan the Terrible: Continuance of the legend of King Ivan IV, in which he takes on the boyars in a battle for electricity. Impressive film is just a shade underneath its predecessor, Banned by Stalin due to debatable illustration of Ivan’s secret patrol, and not discharged till 1958. The controller had prepared to shoot Part 3-which, useless to affirm, he by no means did. Buffet-dance pattern was initially in color. Cast includes Nikolai Cherkassov; Serafima Birman, Mikhail Nazvanov, Pavel Kadochnikov, and Andrei Abrikosov. (88 minutes, 1946)
Mrs. Doubtfire: Warm-gratifying comedy with earnest overtones in reference to a free soul whose spouse divorces him after fourteen years. He couldn’t bear being split apart from his 3 babies, so he camouflages himself as a dowdy British housekeeper (under an Oscar quality makeup job) and gets himself employed to look after them. Williams is in top form, and director Columbus keeps tale and characters moderately practical in an effort to drive home a humanistic message. Cast includes Robin Williams, Sally Territory, Pierce Brosnan, Harvey Fierstein, Polly Holliday, Lisa Jakob, Matthew Lawrence, and Mara Wilson. (125 minutes, 1993)
Meet The Spartans: This is an outrageous spoof of the epic movie 300. Wearing leather underwear and capes, 13 Spartans will take on the Persian army. The Spartans will have to battle the like of: Ghost Rider, Rocky, Paris Hilton, and many more.
Total Recall: A mind bending sci-fi adventure story. Using the latest technology, Douglas Quaid wanted to go on a vacation to mars, through a memory transplant. When he returns home from the ‘trip’ his world seems upside down. Everyone, including his wife, wants him dead. He is now on the run and heads to Mars hoping to find answers. Is this real, or is this his fantasy vacation?
Stranded: A few effective minutes can’t uplift this unrewarding sci-fi entry in reference to foreigners who materialize to the planet, taking adolescent Skye and nana O’Sullivan hostage. Cast includes Joe Morton, Maureen O’Sullivan, Susan Barnes, Cameron Dye, Michael Greene, and Brendan Hughes. (80 minutes, 1987)
Inferno: Fleming plans to destroy her husband Ryan. The outcome of this plot is simply astounding. The movie produces excellent desert scenes. Cast includes Robert Ryan, Rhonda Fleming, William Lundigan, Henry Hull, Carl Betz, and Larry Keating. (107 minutes, 1953)
