Baron Miienchhausen: Lavish, impressive curio which informs of the legendary, free-vigorous Tycoon, his capitalizes on in Russia, Turkey, Venice, and somewhere else, and his journey for gorgeous princesses and queens. Although mainly an escapist amusement, the Tycoon is really a heroic German. This movie is noble, clever, and ever allegiant to the Homeland. Side Street: Cast includes Farley Granger, Cathy O’Donnell, James Craig, Paul Kelly, Edmon Ryan, Paul Harvey, Adele Jergens, Harry Bellaver, and Whit Bissell. Tale of part-time postman Granger hastily robbing a ball of money, and finding himself engaged wilh gangsters and slaughter, is reinforced by striking N.Y.C. locations and stark cinematography by Joseph Ruttenberg. The pursue finale is a highlight (83 minutes, 1949)

Big Top Pee-wee: Farmer Pee-wee permits a voyaging carnival to stay on his asset, and swiftly creates carnival fever-in addition to a romance with the pretty trapeze performer – Golino.
