Marjoe: Oscar-triumphing documentary in regards to life of phony evangelist Marjoe Gortner is positively fascinating, although is a little too gratified with itself, a little too pat to be completely persuading. Black Gun: Black nightclub owner goes after the Guy while his brother is slaughtered. Cast includes Jim Brown, Martin Landau, Brenda Sykes, and Luciana Paluzzi. (98 minutes, 1972)

Weekend At Bernie’s: Richard and Larry are invited to meet their boss Bernie out at his beach house. When they arrive he is dead. With a weekend of women and fun planned, Larry thinks they should enjoy the weekend first. So, they prop Bernie up, and nobody even notices that he is dead.
