Fairytale III – Battle at Orks Rift

Quest difficulty: Expericenced

Requirements:

  • Fairytale II 
  • Wolf whistle

Items:

  • Fairy Nuff’s certificate 
  • Dramen staff, Lunar staff is also an option 
  • Milk 
  • Hammer (Obtainable) 
  • Secateurs (Obtainable) 
  • Armour and food for battle

Combat:
Survive a battle fighting a level 180 foe

Starting Quest

First get the required items. Fairy Nuff’s certificate can be found her grotto from the previous quest. It is needed to access the Fairy queen’s hideout. If you have updated your graphics her “grotto” is now a small building. The dramen staff can be made by using a knife with a dramen branch. the tree is located in the Entrana dungeon. You cannot bring any weapons or armour here. You must have completed Lost city quest. Instead of the Dramen staff, you can use the Lunar staff after you have completed the Lunar Diplomacy quest.

Once you have all the items, go to the main fairy ring and teleport to the Fairy’s hideout. On the right hand side, if you scroll to the bottom the codes should already be there, click it and teleport. You will apprear next the Fairy very wise. Talk to her and accept the free teleport. Now go north east to the quest icon to speak with the Fairy Queen. Accept to help and start quest.

Quest

Items needed: Milk

Talk to Tooth fairy then turn on the projector nearby. There will be a cut scene. Continue talking then turn on the projector again. There will be another cut scene. Continue talking and you will now need to get her wand. Go north and get a hammer and secateurs and use them together to get a tooth extractor. Teleport bgack out and go to the small building just north west of Zanaris bank. Picklock the door using the tooth extractor. Talk to gnarly and keep choosing the top options. He now wants milk. Give him the milk and close your eyes. Pick him up. Take him back to the Tooth fairy. Then turn projector on again. There will be a cut scene. Continue talking and then stand on the yellow flowers and wave. There will be a cut scene. Read the dossier explaining about which orks teeth you need. 

Talk to Bre’egth near the mill. Talk to one of the orks nearby about K’Chunk. Talk to Fairy Fixit about him near the fairy ring. You will recieve the code marker “DIP” Teleport there and you will find him. Talk to K’chunk to find out he knocked the tooth out. Pickpocket him for the tooth. You can use a log and tinderbox with the fireplace but you will need 85 firemaking and you can fix the bridge if you want. You don’t have to, but because it’s there it seems like a puzzle and many people do right-click to talk.

Next teleport to BKQ to the enchanted valley to find Glomblod. If you talk to someone nearby it seems that he is hungry and won’t leave. Talk to Glomblod, he says he wants a mango, talk to Wood Dryad to get the fairy code “CLR”. TEleport there and pick the fruit. Also you can unblock the log so you can use the ring to get to the agility course easier in the future. Return back to BKQ and give it to him. He throws it away to the south, go and pick it up, his tooth is stuck in it. Use the tooth extractor with it to recieve the tooth.

For the last tooth teleport to ALP and talk to General Shredflesh. You will need to convince him to let you pull his tooth out. choose:

  • What’s a bit of pain to a huge ork hero like you? 
  • If i pull it out quick, it will be over soon and won’t hurt much 
  • If it isn’t pulled put all your teeth will go worse

Then use the tooth extractor with him. There will be a cut scene. Return to the Tooth fairy and turn on projector. There will be a cut scene. You will recieve her wand and some updates in your notes. Read it.

The Fight
Items needed: Get your armour and food, and anything else you need to battle.

You will need to fight the Fairy Godfather aslso known as “Bad Daddy”. The dossier will say the fairy codes: “BIR”,”DIP”, “CLR”, ALP”. This should be added to the travel log so clicking that would be much faster than dialling code yourself. Enter the room and there will be a cut scene. Talk to the Tooth Fairy for another cut scene. Plant the teeth into the farming patches and they will grow.  You need to kill the ork generals and grunts. It may be hard to kill them as they get healed. When the generals and warriors are defeated the teeth would have fully grown. Order them to help attack Bad Daddy. Attack him as well. Afterwards talk to him and there will be a cut scene.

Finally

You will now be able to use fairy rings without wielding fairy magic as the enchanment in your tooth is permanent. You will reciever a magic watering can that never runs out. Accept the free teleport and talk to Martin the farmer to finish the quest.
