The Most Common Starcraft 2 Terran Build Order
Start out with 9 SCVs
At 9/9 Supply build your first Supply Depot.
As the Supply Depot is built, your 11th SCV will be popping out so he can make another Supply Depot.
After that same SCV is done with the second Supply Depot, have him build a Barracks so that it helps to protect and block your ramp.
Then, with another SCV that comes out, use them to build a Supply Depot that will also help to defend your ramp.
We’re basically making a great wall that will act as a defense, so that you can easily prepare for your economy to be great without worrying too too much about being overrun early on.
Special Tip: Don’t be idle! If any of your units are idle, you’re going to run into problems. Keep your Command Center busy, and do NOT let any of your SCV’s go idle.
At your 14th SCV get your refinery up.
After your 14th SCV you want to lay off of them a bit and get Orbital Command as soon as your Barracks is done.
Then, at this point, you can get the Mule. The mule is great for your economy since you’re already short changed a bit as you begin.
As the Refinery is built, you can get 2 more SCV’s to start mining gas. Get a few Marines out as well to defend against the enemy, and you can even get another Barracks up to have mass creation of units ready in case you need to bulk up and defend even more.

I could tell you to do more stuff but I’m sure it would probably be a SET BACK for you because I don’t know what strategy you are going to use on your own, so this is a great start for anything that you may want to do aftewards.
Most people opt to go for the MMM strategy, which is the Marines, Marauders, and Medivacs. I think it’s a fantastic strategy that you can use for great success and it’s something you should take a look at.
