Trendy words are associated with the youth of the day – and ‘gaming’ is a trendy word, but are strategy PC games really written for the youth? I have detailed below three very good reasons why adults should take control of gaming.
1. You Can Buy Online – This can’t possibly be for kids as they are available online – that means you need a credit card and that means that they are meant for adults! At least that is my story and I’m sticking with it!
I love buying online, I don’t have to deal with acne infected teenagers who think that being over 21 means that you are on the way to the care home, in shops with music blasting so loudly that they would not be able to answer a customers questions in the rare situation they decided to serve a customer.
2. You Need To Think – Kids games are often about shooting up, about collecting something and hoping that you have enough at the end of the game to get the music to chime that you are a winner.
These are great ways to wind down at the end of a day, a lot less mindless than television and can be completed with a good glass of wine at hand.
3.You Need To Have Time – If they were meant to be played by kids they would be on the social networking sites – isn’t that where all the kids spend their time (that and messaging and chatting). They are meant for people to do in their time out, when the crossword seems a bit to challenging!
So now you have no excuses. Get yourself comfy; go visit the games sites and have a read through the mass of games available to you.
A little word of warning, the games producers are quite prolific, especially the companies such as Big Fish Games who seem to have a game about just about anything you can think of! So allow yourself plenty of time to choose a game and don’t just rush at the first one you find.
