“Titanic” of course, comes in at number 6, followed by the summer smash hit, “Jaws” at number 7 and at number 8 it is “Dr. Zhivago”. The only horror movie in the top 10 comes in at number 9, which is “The Exorcist” and another movie from 1939 rounds out the top 10, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” from Disney.
Disney movies have fared well as “101 Dalmatians”, “Mary Poppins” and “Fantasia” are all in the upper 25. The “Star Wars” movies and George Lucas have also made an impact in the top 25 with “The Empire Strikes Back”, “Return of the Jedi” and “Star Wars: Episode I- the Phantom Menace” all showing up in the leading 25.
