There will be 2 new playable races. For the horde, they will get the goblin race; their available classes will be Death Knight, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock and Warrior. For the alliance, they will get the Worgen Race; their playable classes will be Death Knight, Druid, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. Blizzard will also open up many classes to current races that did not have those available before.
There will also be a level cap increase from 80-85. Not the usual 10 level increase that we have been going at so we must assume that each level will be quite a challenge to get through. In order to level there of course has been several new zones added to the game. These include Uldum, Grim Batol, and the great Sunken City of Vashj’ir. Several previous old world raid dungeons will have newer tougher versions for people to enjoy.
Guild advancement, there will now be a system in place for members to be able to actually level up their guild to as high as level 20. Each level will give the guild a talent point; these points can be used to purchase guild -wide talents. Such guild talents include reduced cost repairs, increased gold from drops, Mass resurrection, Raid summons, No reagents for raid buffs, and more.
New battleground and the rated BG system will be included. The rated BG system is a new direction for pvp. Blizzard has decided to take so much focus off the arena system and implement it into the current battleground system, making BGs similar to arenas in their reward system.
The list can go on for things included but these are big ones and also the ones that are confirmed, the expansion is still in beta and many things could change before release, but that time is getting close and we are seeing more and more of what this expansion is finally becoming.
