I know there are what they call "cheats" but it requires you to get to a certain stage or do something hard.
Why can't there be more codes like invincibility, infinite lives, infinite ammo. etc?
I'm 52 years old and still enjoy video games, but I need them cheats!!
It's too hard and takes too long for a 52 years old professional to play games without cheats!
I don't have the time to fool around!

these ' cheats ' you are talking about are part of the game code developers use in testing the game – they used to leave the test code in to save costs and then people started using it to cheat in games
Sony has tried to make the ps3 about the gameplay experience and cheating ruins it , so they make developers remove test code before a games release .
this means no cheating — if a game is too difficult for you then don't play it . some games have 'cheats' open up after the first play through but that's allowed because you still had to play through it honestly once .
maybe you should switch to playing casual games – ones that don't require lots of time and you can play for 15 minutes at a time – puzzle games or short downloadable games – or games like zen pinball , hustle kings and namco museum

PS3 is a console. The cheats are not released for the console. The cheats are game-specific. Every game has its own cheats. Go to http://www.gamespot.com and search your game and then click on "Hints and FAQs" and you will find the cheats there. Or you can simply google it.
