Suggestion:
It's probably an issue with the lighting in the room you're playing in. Mine kept going out of calibration when I was playing in the dark. Bright lights that are in the Eye's field of view can cause problems too.
Also, you should put the Eye at about shoulder level and stand about 6 to 10 feet away from it while playing. Mine works better on top of my TV than it does below it. Also make sure the Eye is set to wide mode (twist the part that's around the lens clockwise so that the blue light on the right side comes on).
You can also try going to Settings > Accessory Settings > Camera Device Settings. It should show what the Eye is seeing so you can aim it at where you're playing just right. And make sure the Flicker Reduction is set as high as it will go.
