but yeah so i was seeing the metal gear solid series. i hear they are amazing but which one do i start on? i heard the 3rd one is a prequel? i was jus gonna get all 3 but the 2nd one has like 3 different versions or something? haha and im not usually a graphics freak but the playstation one of metal gear solid one looks like…really bad haha so maybe i shouldnt buy that one? like it looks pretty lame. so any advice? which ones to buy. like the best ones to get to get the most fun out of the series. thanks guys! also any other recomendations for games lemme know. im not really a fan of racing games or gta so. ssx tricky looked cool too. im over wow now so haha
Suggestion:
Here's the order you should buy them in:
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Metal Gear
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid 2 (Sons of Liberty)
Then if you get a PS3
Metal Gear Solid Rising
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (the best game ever)
Hope this helps!

i would play them in the order they were released. the games are all good and the third is about snakes father the big boss. but its more exciting to play the games then go back in time. and in the third one they give out future info that might spoil ur game expereince if you havnt played the first games. the first might be bad graphics wise but its worth it by the time you get through the series. i personally love the mgs games. i hope you do play them and enjoy them as much as i did
If you don't like the graphics of the original MGS get the GCN version, called The Twin Snakes. You should still be able to find it online for like $20. It has the same graphics as MGS2 for the PS2. And yes MGS 3 is a prequel, takes place even before the old original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, which were both on the MSX2 and the original was on the NES, the MSX versions translated are included in MGS3 Subsistence, so if you'd like to try those out to fill in some of the story, then you can do that too if you get that version.
My favorite of them all is MGS4, but I'd play that one last if I were you because otherwise you'll be completely lost, so you could do either 3,1,2 or 1,2,3 and then 4 after either one lol. I'd suggest going with MGS 1 first though since it's the least complicated of the Solid series.
