My Playstation 3 is Not Working?

So I took my ps3 to my friends place and had been playing it there, I brought it home hooked it all back up and now it will not work, I used HDMI cables at his house and my house too, but now when I turn the power on there is a signal going to my tv but no sound or picture. I really need help with this.

Suggestion:

Some tvs have different video settings thus it may cause the PS3 to not read the current video setting properly !

Connect your PS3 yo your HDTV and make sure the cables are firm and secure ! Now with the PS3 in stand-by mode (red indicator light on front of console should be lit) press and hold the PS3's On/Off power button until your hear three beeps then release the button and that should reset your video settings and your PS3 should detect the settings and display properly !

If the reset method doesn't work, there may be something wrong internally with your PS3 and you may need to call Sony UK !
