by the way i was playing saw on the ps3 and it went off while i was playing it and the saw disk is still in the ps3

You basically got the YLOD or Yellow Light Of Death, its when u turn it on it will flash a yellow light first then beeps twice & flashes red, And u can fix that without sending it to Sony coz it will cost a lot more. Sony is the worst at giving a damn about it's gaming consumers…find yourself a gaming cafe or maybe a computer cafe..we have a few here where I live and when mine messed up, I let the tech's fix it…I need to be able to talk to the person fixing my stuff in person since I spend alot of money on my gaming stuff … I trust you do the same rather then send it off and not know what is going on

Send it to sony to be fixed (for a fee if it's not under warranty), try to fix it yourself by searching tutorials on youtube, or go buy a new one.
I'm sorry but you will have to send it off to Playstation to get it fixed; it's called the 'yellow light of death'.
