Playstation 3 Wireless Connection?

Hi, I was recently trying to set up my playstation 3 with a wireless internet (Telecom Broadband) but when i scanned for it it came up with no results. I also tried automatically to. And Manually. My internet was connected but my Ps3 couldnt get any results for an avaliable internet connection. So i went on the internet for answers but all i got was "Disable SSID" and "You have to connect the Router to the Circumferance" so i obviously have no idea what an SSID is or a "Router". I checked on the Telecom website and the manual but to no avail. Can someone please help, all i wanna do is play Playstation Online. – Cheers

Suggestion:

Telecom im not sure that is a wireless router? if so just reset the router and see if that works.. SSID stands for (service set identifier)it is a name to dentify the particular 802.11 wireless LANs to which a user wants to attach. …. basically its the name you give your network. if that don't work if it is possible run your Ethernet cord from the modem to your PS3.

Ok, do you own a wireless router? Because from what i can tell, you don't get one automatically with Telecom. You'd need a wireless router, and you'd have to set it up with your modem.
