xbox 360:
-better online play BUT you have to pay for it
-cheaper
-better games
ps3:
-free online play but not as popular
-cost more
-blue ray included (i dont know if it is good)
-less games to pick from
so as you can see i dont know which one to buy (i wish i could buy both but i cant)
i am leaning more towards the 360 cuz is more popular among gamers but the fact that u have to pay for online play is not wat i want cuz i am not a full time games like most so i am not going to expend all my time playing online but again the 360 is cheaper. on the other hand, ps3's PSN is free (even if the online experience is crap) plus u get a blue ray ( i dont know if it compares to regular blue rays)
i have not done research on memory or performance yet so pls help me out with that.
Need help pls i want a good answer plsss.
PS. i am comparing the slim ps3 and the elite 360.

it really depends on all the games you wanna play, are most of them 360 exclusives??
another PRO for the PS3 is that its got built in WiFi. you have to pay extra for a spec adapter if you want the 360 to connect wirelessly.
despite the fact yes XBL isn't free, and no built in wifi, i would still recommend buying one.
its only like £3.50 approx a month, cheap if you ask me, and there's the whole range of games you can play, also the x360 is also backwards compatible with many of xbox originals (please check compatibility list link below before buying any to make sure). – the PS3 isn't backward compatible with PS2 – also if you ever wanted to stream music from your PC to the consoles, 360 is better suited to the job.
another thing i might add is that the controller for the 360 feels rigid and comfortable, where the PS3 one feels light and cheep, also the trigger buttons cause your finger to slip off, as well as the analogue sticks, not very grippy at all, the 360 controller i feel is perfection!
i would vote 360, but, up to you.
