console, controller, 3 month free subscription for xbox live, headset and 2 games that are halo and fable 3. So the games are well known and good.
the ps3 comes with:
console, controller, 2 games which arent too well known, and some cable thingo
So the xbox is winning with that. but then again, im not sure. because they both have pre much the same games apart from halo and fable and some others. but ps3 has playstation home, and i heard thats good?
so im really unsure. please help.

Ps3 is easier to control/find things.
I have to agree that the choice deals with what ever one has more games you are interested in. Xbox 360 gets more DLC first (Down loadable Content). Has a more a commutative community (But also has a fair amount of trash talkers and people who just play their music REALLY loud like others want to hear it). PS3 seems to have a bit more exclusive games then the 360 does. PS3 has batteries in the remote which is easier to deal with then taking them out like 360 remotes.
Some downsides
360 had one of the biggest problems ever, the red ring of death, which is now just about solved and not more problems like it have risen. Xbox live is 60 dollars a year (you can get a free version but you can not play with others).
360 can end up costing more.
PS3's network may be free but was quite easily hacked, which was so bad that the PSN (Play Station Network) had to be disable for a month for repairs.
PS3's batteries being in the remote can be good, but once the batteries crap out (They never live forever) the whole remote needs to be replaced or you can open it and replace it yourself if you got the know-how.
A lot more people hate the PS home then like it.
These are just some pros and cons, Both systems have a lot more pros and a lot more cons, so don't listen to the fan boys who only say their system is better.
