I'm having real problems with my above console. When playing PS1 games downloaded from PSN store its coming up with do you wish to quit the game automatically. I've had the console for 4 years now. Do I take it to my local cash converters store who are quite happy to take it from me and use the funds to buy an up to date psp? Or can anybody help me with the above screen message?

For the fault the only answer i can give is if the home button is stuck or maybe a software update is required. But if your going to upgrade do not get a PSPGo or the 3000. The PSPGo is more of a fashion item than a gaming console and the 3000 is a little bit stupid. Try to get the 2000 which is cheaper and hackable. When you hack a PSP a new world opens to you. Apart from the dreadfull illegal market you can get all sorts of homebrew to enhance your PSP or just for the fun of it, you can get apps that have alarm clocks or make the psp faster or, using the PSP 2000 you can run 2-3 apps at once. You can play a UMD while reading a book and deleteing some old songs. Basiclly 3000 is good and way better than the PSPGo but you'll be missing out on the homebrew.
Get the 3000 if you want to stay legit, get the 2000 if you want to go further.
