Is Final Fantasy Xiii a Very Very Very Difficult Game?

hey, i just got my ps3, and i thought of getting an RPG game such as final fantasy. its like one of the top rpg games for the ps3 so far, and i just wana know, whether it is such an extremely hard game, that requires real good skills and, must u actually be a real FF professional to actually play this game with successfully passing all the obstacles? please peeps. i need ur help badly as i may not have enough time to decide a game to buy. thank you very much in advance.

Suggestion:

I have the game and yes it can be rather challenging in some stages but no its not super hard, you don't need to be a ff pro to play it. I would say its more time consuming (rather a long game) than it is hard. (I have 49 hrs play time and still not finished the main story). Definitely worth getting though. Even if you have never played FF before you should be ok, once you know what your doing it gets easier.
