Ps3 is Not Letting Me Load My Game Save After Ps3 Restore? Help!?

I recently did a system restore on my ps3 slim, I created the same user name as before and everything. I don't have it connected to the psn so that has nothing to do with it. I don't understand why it's not recognizing that it's the same user. I get the error message "you cannot load the save data because you are not the owner". Today I was reinstalling my games onto the hard drive of the ps3 slim and I felt like playing Dead Space and when I got to the load game screen I selected the game save which I had backed up on my USB flash drive and then copied back onto the ps3. But as I select it, it says that I can't load it because I am not the owner??? WTF? What can I do about this? I used the same user name when I restored the ps3 so why am I all of sudden not the same owner?

Suggestion:

To put it simple the restore function is a hoax.
