will i cant go buy original games because its to far from my home and i really want to try such thing but it will take to long to download and copy so i must know before i do it

No the only PS3's that can play PS2 games are the very original 60Gb models (the ones that were £425 when the PS3 just launched) the later 80Gb can also play some PS2 games too but its not as good as the 60Gb model
Easiest way to tell is if it has 4 USB ports and the card readers at the front, if not yours can't play PS2 games.
Also copied games won't work on ANY legit system PS2 or PS3.
you can buy loads of PS2 games online pretty cheaply and used PS2s are cheap if you around a bit online
Also Tyler is incorrect about PS1 games not working on PS3 they run on ALL VERSIONS of the PS3
PS3 Slim does not play any PS or PS2 games. Only PS3.
not unless it's modded will it play burnt games, even then i'm not sure if it will play burnt ps2 or ps one games cause they are not backwards compatible.
i'd suggest to either hire the games from somewhere local or just save up and buy several good games at once, you could even buy them online and get them posted to your house.
you can get games off the psn store if you have the internet.
