How Can I Get My Ps3 to Play Ps2 Games?

I got an 80GB PS3 and I was wondering if there was an adapter or anything I could get or do so that it could play PS2 games. Thanks!

Suggestion:

No can do, dear. If it doesn't play PS2 games now, it likely never will. Only the early 20's, 60's, and choice versions of the 80's have PS2 backwards compatibility.

Unfortunately not at this time. Only the first batch of PS3's had backwards capability, the 40GB ones. Now, i have heard RUMORS that Sony is putting PS2 titles on the PS Store, but they are rumors and those greedy nannies at Sony will of course make u pay for a game u already bought years ago.

You can buy a 20GB, 60GB, or Limited Edition 80GB MotorStorm and MGS4 Bundle PS3 to play PS2 games, or you can buy a PS2.

Those are your only options. You can not make a non-backward compatible PS3 play PS2 games, period.
